Updates as of 8/10/24:

Wedding gifts-

We are fortunate enough to have most of the material things we need.  That said, in lieu of gifts, donate to www.handinpawrescue.com (see our home page).  We fostered several dogs through them and even adopted our beloved Maltese, Tee Tee.  Suggested donation is $100 per adult guest.  Thank you from both Jes and I.

Rooms-

Room block is filled (+ some).  We also have guests staying at several other local hotels and Airbnb’s.  So far we have 36 people staying local.  There are still vacancies for anyone else staying local

Day before events-

We are planning on lounging by the adult pool at the Four Seasons.  There is a bar with appetizers and drinks.  You are in vited to join us, even if you are not staying at the Hotel.  Pool drinks and food are not hosted.

Dinner:  Everyone on your own, but plan on partying with us at 8:30……

Night before events-

There will be a hosted bar and a private lounge area at 8:30 at the Bamboo Room, 30760 Russel Ranch Road, Westlake Village, 91362.  There will be a DJ or live music.  There is a dance floor.  Casual attire.  This is < 5 mins from 4 Seasons.  We are finnalizing arrangements.

Wedding day-

Wedding day attire:  Coat and tie for gentlemen (you can loosen your tie and take off your coats as the party progresses).  Formal attire for women (feel free to wear patterns, prints or bright colors).

Bridesmaids, groomsman and family will be available for AM rehearsal and preparations

Events start at 2 PM with a cocktail reception and appetizers

Ceremony starts promptly at 3

We party untill 11

A note regarding sun exposure-We are outdoors from 2-5.  Parisols/umbrellas will be provided for shade during the ceremony.  There is an indoor (air conditioned) bar and a shaded bar.  There is a covered outdoor reception area that can accomodate everyone.  There will be wide access to lemonade and water.  We will make sure that you stay hydrated, shaded, entertained and that your bellies are full!

We are likely doing an after party…details to come

If you are staying local on 9/6, text me and let me know when you plan on checking in.  I’m planning some pool side activities at four seasons.

We are anticipating 8 kids.  I believe 2 are nursing.  Please text George or Jes and let us know if your kiddo will require a Kid’s meal or not.

Here’s the schedule of munchies at the wedding:

During 2PM-3PM cocktail hour:  A grazing table consisting of artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, mezza and veggie crudite, fresh and dried fruits, olives, cornichons, crackers, feta dip, chickpea humus, eggplant dip, grape leaves and pita crisps

During 4PM-5PM cocktail hour:  Passed appetizers consisting of flatbread pizza, hamachi, crabcakes and lamb meatballs

5:20:  Awesome dinner service begins (see above)

7:15:  Cake cutting and service.  I have tasted all 3 layer flavors and they are mind blowing.  Marble with chocolate ganache, vanilla/strawberry and European chocolate.

9:30:  Late night eats for the die hards.  Chicken and waffles, sliders.

No one will be hungry!

There will be 2 cocktail hours, starting at 2 and 4PM.

Both bars will be open throughout dinner.

Besides a well stocked premium bar, we have the following crafted drinks, call for them by name:

The George (French 75, made with cognac and champagne.  Because Rappard is French)

The Uno (Old Fashioned.  Named after our old fashioned German Shepherd Dog)

The Tee Tee (Fizzy basil lemonade.  A mangy drink, like our mangy maltese, Tee Tee)

Jessica wants to ride off in a beautifull convertible, so we spiffed up the BMW Z8.  She got a fresh detail this morning and all 400BHP is roaring to go!
